Love my new mugs! They’re so beautiful and I look forward to my morning coffee now more than ever.
I bought my first sheep mug as a souvenir during my trip to Ireland. They are fun, each one is unique, and there is such a sense of humour to the way the sheep are designed. A year later, I accidentally broke my mug. It took me time to find the potter that made them. They shipped them quickly and the mugs were carefully wrapped and arrived perfectly safe.
I’m so happy to have my favourite mug back!!!

Charlie Mahon Ceramics Pottery Cork
Handcrafted and hand painted pottery made in Cork, Ireland by award winning ceramic artist and potter Charlie Mahon. As a lover of all things ceramics I enjoyed creating what I call practical art. I have combined my art with the practicality of pottery and come up with my four collections which are all made from white earthenware clay, glazes and fired twice in our electric kilns, here in Cork Ireland. I really hope you enjoy your experience with my art on a platter, bowl, plate or mug! Enjoy.

Charlie Mahon Ceramics Pottery Cork
Contemporary Award winning Irish handmade pottery
Every platter, mug and bowl made by Charlie Mahon
is individual; handmade, hand painted, and fired right here in our kilns in Cork, Ireland.
I use white earthenware clay and my own (secret!) recipe of
hand painted glazes developed over the years. Every single piece of pottery is
handcrafted and signed by me.
I hope these contemporary shaped platters and bowls will complement
and enhance your home as well as bringing you a smile every time you use them.
While we recommend hand washing with warm soapy water, we wash everything in the dishwasher with success so far!
These collections can be viewed as individual and different,
bringing art to ceramics, design to your interiors and conversation to your
dining table. Enjoy!
