Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, absolutely. Every piece of Irish Ceramics you see is genuinely handmade, hand-painted, and fired in our kilns right here in Cork, Ireland. Our collections are not mass-produced; they are original works of art created and signed by Charlie Mahon, ensuring you receive an authentic piece of Irish craftsmanship.
Our ceramics are built to be part of your daily life. They are highly durable and functional enough for the busiest kitchen yet beautiful enough for special gatherings. All our pottery is microwave safe. While we advise gentle hand washing to protect the hand-painted finish for a lifetime, these pieces are designed to be loved and used every single day.
Our Irish Ceramics are a lasting gift that tells a story. When you give one, you are giving more than just an item—you are giving a unique piece of art that will become a cherished part of a family’s memories. Each piece is a symbol of warmth and connection, perfect for the person who loves to make their home special.
Because every item is entirely Irish handmade and hand-painted, no two pieces are exactly alike. Small variations in colour, brushstroke, or size are the hallmarks of authentic, handmade work. These slight imperfections are what give your Irish Ceramics their unique character and soul, celebrating the skill of the artist.
