Shipping & Delivery

When will I get my order?

We aim to dispatch orders within 5-7 days.

If any item is not in stock, please give 14 days for dispatch.

We’ll send you a confirmation email as soon as it’s on the way. If it’s with a courier we will send an email with a tracking number.

Make sure to give us a valid email address and telephone number when you order – if there are any issues that could affect your delivery, we’ll need to be able to get in contact with you quickly!

Delivery

Signature is required on all deliveries. A contact number and an email address is needed for all deliveries.

We advise supplying an address where there is someone available Mon - Fri during working hours.

If someone at home or unable to accept delivery they are liable for the costs incurred.

Sample shipping rates

No surprises, we promise - up-to-date rates by weight will be displayed at check-out before you make a payment.

We are always looking for the best options for our customers, and shipping costs often change, but here’s sample shipping rates:

  • Republic of Ireland: €9.50
  • United Kingdom: €20
  • Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Finland, Italy, Portugal, Spain: €35
  • USA, Canada: €35-55
  • Rest of the World: €55

Online Returns & Exchange Policy

Our exchange policies are a guideline. We are always happy to hear from our customers; we want you to be delighted with your pottery and to give you best possible options.

Returns and Exchange

For national returns in the Republic of Ireland, please contact us at charlie@charliemahon.com

You can return the items as sold, with a valid receipt and within 14 days, for a full refund.

If you are happy to exchange the items please return them to us as sold, with valid receipt, within 30 days.

The cost of returning the pottery will be at your own expense. For exchanges we can arrange collection and delivery at a cost of €15 for national deliveries in Ireland.

For international customers, the cost of returning the pottery will be at your own expense.

Please ensure the pottery is securely packed before collection. It is not the responsibility of the courier to pack the pottery.

We can only accept items bought directly from us through our shop, studio or online store. If an item is purchased from our stockists, please return it to them.

Items deemed faulty or damaged:

  • If an item arrives damaged, please email a photograph of the broken piece and a picture of the box it arrived in, within 2 days of delivery and we will be happy to send you a replacement.
  • All items broken or damaged during shipping/delivery will be replaced at no additional cost.
  • If the piece is a unique one/off piece and we are unable to replicate it then we will be happy to offer an alternative piece to the same value or a full refund.
  • If an item is deemed faulty, please report it to us within 7 days of purchase for a full exchange or a credit note.

For faulty items

Please ensure the pottery is securely packed before collection. It is not the responsibility of the courier to pack the pottery.

  • In the Republic of Ireland, we can arrange national collection for you.
  • If you are outside Ireland please arrange your own return. Include a copy of the receipt of delivery and we will refund the cost of the return.
