Savoury Seasoned Popcorn

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 3 tablespoons melted butter
• 1 teaspoon dried thyme*
• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder*
• 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese*
• Salt and pepper to taste
  
  * Adjust seasonings to your preference. Like a spice bag popcorn, use your imagination.

Directions:

1. Pop the popcorn kernels using your preferred method (air popper, stovetop, or microwave).

2. Put the freshly popped popcorn in one bowl. Don't use the all-purpose household bowl, treat yourself to a beautiful large serving bowl that is only used for food. You know what we mean.

3. While the popcorn was popping, in a small saucepan over low heat, mix together the melted butter, olive oil, dried thyme, and garlic powder. Warm it while stirring until the butter is melted.

4. Drizzle the seasoned mixture over the popped popcorn, tossing gently to ensure an even coating. Add the Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper (to taste), giving it a final toss.

5. Either serve in the large bowl, or put portions in several small bowls so there's a bowl for everyone in the audience, we mean... your family. Make sure the drizzle has cooled slightly before serving (waiting a minute or two usually works)
